THE RESEARCH ON THE LIGHTING IN PLANT DESIGN

Abstract: One of the most important elements of the landscape design is the plant design which is a series of processes involving the selection and editing of plant material required for a specific purpose, space and time. In this context, the plant design should have a remarkable clarity in all elements that should be seen at night, as well as the daytime. For a landscape design to be attractive and strong, the illumination of a design is an important factor, both in the exterior and interior spaces. The aim of this research is to reveal the plant design effects of living materials within the scope of the direction and quality of the light on the users.
